I'm running the Great North Run 2026
In 2026, I’ll be running the Great North Run for the RNLI, a cause that isn’t just close to my heart, but part of my life.
As an RNLI Inshore Lifeboat Helm, I’ve seen first-hand when someone out there needs our help, we rely on the kit and training to keep us safe. When the pager goes off, we don’t hesitate, we go. And every time we launch, we do so wearing kit, using equipment and relying on training that has been funded entirely by donations.
That’s why I truly understand and deeply appreciate every pound you give.
Your support doesn’t just sponsor my miles on race day, it helps provide the lifesaving kit on our backs, the fuel in the lifeboat, and the training that allows us to bring people home safely to their families.
