Taking on the Reindeer Run challenge for RNLI lifesavers
RNLI supporters around the country will be donning their antlers and strapping up their hooves to run 24 miles – all to help keep RNLI volunteers safe this winter.
Freezing seas, numbing winds and sub-zero temperatures – would you fancy launching into that aboard a lifeboat? RNLI crews will be doing just that, battling the elements this winter to continue their mission to save every one.
Reindeer Runners will be raising money so they have everything they need to answer the call for help. Because no matter how harsh the winter weather might be, lifeboat crews will always launch to the rescue. I’d be so grateful if you could sponsor me.

This is my first Reindeer Run in Fenit, and I’m walking it—one step at a time along the Wild Atlantic Way. And honestly? It feels just as magical. The crisp Atlantic air, the sea beside me… it all reminds me that you don’t have to run to feel alive. You just have to show up.
Every day I walk past the Fenit RNLI station, and it gives me a quiet push. A reminder of courage, community, and the power of simply putting one foot in front of the other. That’s what this walk has become for me—a small act of strength.
I’m not here for speed. I’m here for the joy of moving, for the views that take my breath away, and for the feeling of doing something new for myself.
If I can take this first step, you can too.
Maybe this is your moment to begin—walk it, enjoy it, and let it mean something to you. I hope to inspire many and it will be an annual event in Fenit.
