I'm running the Great North Run 2026!!!

Usually if you see me running theres a problem... or I'm responding to the pager - but not this time! This year, and for the first time I’m running the Great North Run Half Marathon in September in support of the RNLI. Every penny I raise will help the RNLI save lives at sea and help us to do vital work helping our friends and family in the community.

Tuesday 14th Jul
I did that thing where I told everyone I was doing a half marathon, didn’t train as hard as I should and now it’s 8 weeks away. We are moving and grooving ladies and gents, getting out there and putting the kms in! In 8 weeks I take on my biggest challenge against myself. Thank you all to everyone that has donated so far - I’m so grateful and won’t let you down! Shoutout to Nicole for putting up with my constant complaining 🤣

I’ve not been mega well in the last week since launching the fundraiser but I’ve STILL been getting out there and getting training runs in. On with a solid two runs last week and on track for three this week - we’re seeing increase in intervals and pacing looks good!
