I'm running the Great North Run 2026
I’m running the Great North Run 2026 in support of the RNLI. Every penny I raise will help the RNLI save lives at sea. If you are able to sponsor me, thank you so much. Together we can help provide brave RNLI lifesavers with the equipment, kit and training that helps them launch to the rescue.

Defying the far right
Thursday 10th Sep I entered the Great North Run as an individual because I wanted to avoid the pressure of fundraising. But the appalling far-right attacks on RNLI volunteers have made me want to speak up and support an organisation whose volunteers risk their lives to rescue lives at sea, no matter what passport they hold. Great cause, well done for being an actual human, with normal human values and stuff. And well done for all the training to actually do the event - I'm sure you'll do a great job!
