I’m taking on the Mayday Mile challenge to support RNLI volunteers
This May, I’m completing a mile-a-day challenge to help RNLI crews save lives at sea.
During summertime, more people flock to beaches and coastal towns to make the most of everything they have to offer – from glorious sunshine to adventurous watersports. And as temperatures rise, so do calls from people in trouble in the water.
By answering this Mayday call and giving a gift today, you can make a real, lifesaving difference. Your kindness will help give volunteers everything they need to launch to the rescue, and make sure they’re ready to face their busiest season.
Will you sponsor my RNLI Mayday Mile challenge and support the courageous crews?

3 weeks done!✔️
Tuesday 21st May I can't believe I've done 3 whole weeks of walking every day! Only 10 days remaining and I'm so proud of how my fitness and health has improved this month. Some days I've struggled either physically or mentally but I really do feel better all around. Thank you to everyone who's been supporting me along the way. Let's get this last 10 days done🤙 Share1 week complete ✅️
Tuesday 7th May Hit the 1 week mark and must say, the days I thought I'd struggle to get motivated I've surprised myself! Finding these walks so good mentally and physically whether it's preparing myself for the day ahead or clearing my mind after the day, there's pros to both😌 my legs are feeling it but I've been doing yoga/stretches and today I've borrowed a foam roller to see if that helps. Finally, I'm so close to reaching my fundraising goal so a massive thank you to everyone who's supported me so far, it means so much to me❤️ Share1st Walk!🥳
Wednesday 1st May Day 1 - Mile 1 ✅️Fitbit
Friday 26th Apr I connected my fitbit app to make sure it all synced right and I'm so glad I did! I did a 1.4 mile walk which has only synced as 0.9 miles so I've decided I'll be manually uploading my miles every day but I'll screenshot my walk as evidence ☺️🚶♀️ so glad I checked in advance! SharePreparation is on the way!
Tuesday 23rd Apr New fitbit at the ready and mapped out how many laps of my local park I need to do to reach at least 1 mile so I can hopefully stop off to do my mile on my way to/from work ☺️ Thank you to everyone who has donated or given me support before I've even started this challenge. Knowing I'm supported is such a good feeling prior to starting! ShareIntroduction!
Tuesday 9th Apr I've decided to challenge myself this May to walk at least 1 mile each day!🚶♀️ It may not seem like alot to some but for me, the challenge will be completing it on my bad days.. for those that don't know I have Fibromyalgia along with other medical conditions and some days the pain/fatigue gets the better of me. I really want to use this challenge to prove to myself that it won't win and I can do anything if I set my mind to it!! Proud to be raising money for the RNLI in the process who do amazing work all year round! ShareThank you to my Sponsors
