I’m taking on the Mayday Mile Challenge to support RNLI volunteers

This May, I’m completing a mile-a-day challenge to help RNLI crews save lives at sea.

During summertime, more people flock to beaches and coastal towns to make the most of everything they have to offer – from glorious sunshine to adventurous watersports. And as temperatures rise, so do calls from people in trouble in the water.

By answering this Mayday call and giving a gift today, you can make a real, lifesaving difference. Your kindness will help give volunteers everything they need to launch to the rescue, and make sure they’re ready to face their busiest season.

Will you sponsor my RNLI Mayday Mile Challenge and support the courageous crews?

My Updates

New challenges

Wednesday 21st May
For someone who lives in such a beautiful county, I always find it hard to believe how little I have explored here. You'd think being a home educating mum with these beautiful surroundings that we'd be exploring all the time, but, honestly, since having a little person, and having covid more than once and then struggling with the after effects, I find it hard to 'get going'.

We are incredibly lucky to have rugged hills and stunning beaches not far from us.
But with such beauty, there is safety to consider, as nature is deeply in control here. From clouds rolling in and getting lost on the hills, to a change in sea conditions and being pulled off course in the water... there's aspects of this landscape to be aware of.
For me this is where mountain rescue, air ambulance, the coastguard, and the RNLI come in.
So I've decided to try my best this May and fundraise while covering miles for the amazing workers and volunteers of the RNLI who work so hard to keep us safe.
My challenge awaits... Nature is calling...
