Final mile!

H&R were joined by the excited Charlie dog on their final Mayday Mile. Thank you to all their amazing sponsors for supporting them x

Too cute on day 24

Go team!

Singing in the rain (day 23)

They're committed to the cause! Plus brollies are fun!

Dandelion clocks

H&R had great fun on their daily mile yesterday, especially when they passed through a field of dandelion clocks! They've reached the halfway mark of their Mayday Mile, and almost reached their fundraising target! Thank you to all their sponsors so far 💕💕💕

Favourite update so far

In Goostrey we calculated it'd take 80 rounds of the garden in the wheelbarrow to make a mile 😅 So H&R really enjoyed this one ... Not so sure about Richard 😂 Way to go, team 🎉

Day 10 and going strong

H&R have been going to the park before school in the nice weather, to do loops to complete the mile on the way to school!

On the beach!

Sunday's Mayday Mile was running on the beach! Apt for the RNLI!

Mixing it up on Day 3 with the scooters

H&R mixed it up on Day 3 enjoying their daily mile on their scooters! Thank you to all of our amazing sponsors 🥰

First Mayday Mile

1st May and we're off to a great start! R did his Mayday Mile on scooter, H walked! Gorgeous day for it!

Why RNLI?

H has been an RNLI fan for over 3 years already. He's in the Storm Force crew (junior member) and loves to learn about the RNLI boats and stations, and their amazing rescues. He loves swimming and says he is learning to become a strong swimmer because he wants to volunteer for the RNLI when he's older.

R is steadily following in his big brother's footsteps and loves learning about their daring work.

As a family we love that the RNLI do not discriminate against anyone who needs rescuing, and when the current government tried to stop them rescuing those fleeing other countries for the UK, the RNLI said they would always continue to respond to all those in need of rescuing.

We're taking on the Mayday Mile challenge to support RNLI volunteers

This May, we're completing a mile a day challenge to help RNLI crews save lives at sea.

During summertime, more people flock to beaches and coastal towns to make the most of everything they have to offer – from glorious sunshine to adventurous watersports. And as temperatures rise, so do calls from people in trouble by the water.

By answering this Mayday call and giving a gift today, you can make a real, lifesaving difference. Your kindness will help give volunteers everything they need to launch to the rescue, and make sure they’re ready to face their busiest season.

Will you sponsor our RNLI Mayday Mile challenge and support the courageous crews?

Thank you to our Sponsors
