We are taking on the Mayday Mile Challenge once more

This May, We are completing a mile-a-day challenge to help RNLI crews to continue to save lives at sea.

As most of you know we are a big water activities family whether that's in a pool, lake or the sea. So once more we are pounding the pavements, grabbing our trikes, bikes and any other form of transport to raise value funds to ensure these volunteers are there every time the pager sounds.

During the summer lots of people flock to the beaches (us included) and some of those will unfortunately get into trouble and will need the services of these volunteers. But it all costs money, so we are asking for you help and support, we would love if you could join us by sponsoring us this May

Thursday 15th May
Today mum and the boys headed to the ducks for a quick walk through the woods, but it was really hot, mum was late getting home and the traffic was REALLY bad, so it turned into a mad dash through the woods and to make it back to swimming in time to pick me up!

And it turned into a paddle too and we had an ice cream on the way back to the car.

Anyway Day 8 and it was back to the woods the boys walked up through the woods in the shade, whilst me and mum headed off to the other side to find the other loop........ we didnt find it, we found trees and boulders blocking the path and a vertical climb which mum told me she wasn't climbing, so we turned back and will try it from the other side another day!

Tuesday 6th May
As it was a sunny-ish day and we had plenty of time to spare we headed off down the Middlewood Way, the plan was to stick together but that lasted about the first mile, until the girls decided to go a bit further and the boys decided to do a little modification to the trike.

The boys covered 2.6 miles in total and the girls made it to the A6 lol.

Day 4 - Adventure Time

Tuesday 6th May
Today the girls decided to be adventurous and get dropped on the top of a hill and meet the boys at the bottom, this plan was great until we met a Lamb on the wrong side of the fence!

After many attempts and some help from a passer by the lamb decided he preferred running into traffic than his field and shot off. Back to our walk and we managed to find the right path and made it to the boys with a tale to tell and finish off our walk together.
