Wendy's Mayday Miles 2024
This May, I’m completing a mile-a-day challenge to help RNLI crews save lives at sea.
I have been secretary of Seaton Beer and District Branch in Devon since 1997 and have completed sponsored walks with the branch since the late 1970's and still organise and complete our walks every year. I enjoy the fun and challenge of doing my Mayday Miles and try to do a different route most days. As in previous years I will be walking a mile a day or more in the beautiful Devon countryside and by the coast in our area. I also do my Mayday Miles on days out and in previous years have walked them while on holiday.
Our branch of the RNLI has a Mayday Appeal Welly Walk Day at Seaton every year and in 2024 it is on Saturday 25th May. Some of our Volunteers will also be walking along the East and West Walks with me on the day and doing their own Mayday Miles during the month too. If you see us give us a wave and a cheer and if possible a donation that will be greatly appreciated too.
It is a great pleasure to do fundraising and support the RNLI.
