My Updates

Day 31 - the finish line

Monday 1st Jun
Today Fred finished his walk in Lyme Regis, at the lifeboat station. The team there had kindly arranged for some of the Crew to meet Fred, hear about his journey and help to eat celebratory cakes (orange and blue, of course).

We are so very proud of Fred for his commitment over the last 31 days, and so thankful to all of the donors who have made his ambitions a reality - thank you all.

Day 28 - Dad update

Friday 29th May
Today we did our sponsored walk around the Eden Project. Fred enjoyed the rainforest dome, the park and the marble runs. We even went to the beach afterwards!

Day 23 update

Saturday 23rd May
Today has been hot, so walking waited until after dinner. Fred and Mum did a loop around the nature reserve, with a path that was very steep and very overgrown, but Fred loves it!

Day 21 - Dad update

Thursday 21st May
Today Fred decided that he wanted to ride his bike down to the park. He was really good at stopping and not falling off!

He also saw three cats and was very happy!

Day 17 - Dad update

Sunday 17th May
Fred has nearly reached his new target of £500, which is amazing! He is also really close to breaking 31 miles with two weeks still to go!

Fred would like to say: "Dear sponsors, I hope some more people sponser me. I did a big walk today even though I was tired! Also I needed a wee and had to take off all my waterproofs!"

Day 13 - Dad update

Wednesday 13th May
Fred has enjoyed walking after dinner this week and with family at the weekend. He's doing really well and has done over half his target diatance already!

I asked Fred why he wanted to walk for the lifeboats. He said because he thought it would be fun and he could help the RNLI save lives at sea. Well done Fred!

Day 8 - Dad update

Friday 8th May
Fred has been walking everyday after school, he went to the woods, the nature reserve and the recreation park (plus the playground).

We're really proud of all the effort Fred is putting in, even when he is feeling tired. You are doing such an amazing job!

Love from Mum & Dad!

Day 4 update

Monday 4th May
I've been for a walk everyday. I went to Ham Hill, Les' farm, Cannings Court with Grandma, and to the stream by the mill.

Thank you for sponsoring me!

Love Fred (mieow!)

Day 1 - Fred Fred update

Friday 1st May
Dad took me to Ham Hill.
I had a flag on my bag.

Thank you for sponsoring me.

Practice walk

Thursday 9th Apr
At the weekend Fred and Dad walked down to the Church (the long way) to practice. Fred wants to make a flag to carry when he walks!

Thank you to my Sponsors

Dear Fred, I am so very proud of how you're helping the RNLI to rescue people in danger. I hope you're seeing lots of interesting things while you're walking. I am sponsoring you £1.50 for every mile. You've done 27 miles so far (to 15th May) so I think that's £40.50. I'll do the same for all the miles you walk between now and the end of the month.
