This December I'm taking on the Reindeer Run Challenge for the RNLI, raising funds to help keep RNLI volunteers safe this winter

Freezing seas, numbing winds and sub-zero temperatures, the RNLI crews will be launching their lifeboats regardless, battling the elements to continue their mission to save lives.

The Reindeer Run Challenge is all about raising money so they have everything they need to answer the call for help. Because no matter how harsh the winter weather might be, lifeboat crews will always launch to the rescue. So, if you feel you are in position to donate, please, I ask you to do so.

Having recently met with Cromer RNLI and battled the elements just walking along the pier to get to their 'office' at the end of it, I'm inspired and in awe of their relaxed, warm welcome and openness to collaborate, those I met with showed me what incredible, selfless, proud people make the RNLI what it is. I'm thrilled to be working on a project that is celebrating their 200^th anniversary and hope this small gesture of running 24 miles in December, a mile for every hour they are on call for, every day, even Christmas Day, is a way of saying thank you for what they do.
