Taylor’s mayday mile

Thursday 1st May

My Story

As the weather warms up, more people will be drawn to the water. But as temperatures rise, so do the calls for help. Getting into trouble can happen to anyone - and it happens so easily. It could happen to you, me, or someone we love.

The RNLI are determined to be there when they're needed most. But as the cost of living has gone up, the cost of lifesaving has gone up, too. So, this May, I'm answering their call for help by taking part in the Mayday Mile to help fund the kit and training they need to save lives this summer.

I'll be completing one mile every day this May to raise money for brave volunteer crews. Please donate to support me cycling a minimum of a mile a day on my bike which I have only learn to ride last week. I will also be doing it my RNLI uniform

My target is £125

I’m using the mayday mile as training before walking from Skegness to Bridlington later in the year in support of all the lifeboat stations that were involved in the rescue just outside of the Humber a few months ago
