Heaton Post Box fundraiser for RNLI - Royal National Lifeboat Institution

I’m fundraising for the RNLI to help power brave lifesavers to the rescue

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit our post box. We love knitting and find joy in creating these pieces, hoping they bring smiles and warmth to everyone who sees them as they walk or drive by. Your generous donation will mean the world not only to us but also to the RNLI - Royal National Lifeboat Institution.

Every day, too many lives are lost to drowning, and now more than ever, the RNLI’s vital work is needed. As a charity, the RNLI relies entirely on donations to continue their life-saving mission. They are our lifeline — from the brave lifeboat crews providing 24-hour search and rescue across the UK and Ireland, to the vigilant lifeguards watching over 240 of the busiest beaches in the UK and Channel Islands, and the dedicated safety teams educating communities to prevent accidents before they happen.

Every day, around the coasts of the UK and Ireland, RNLI volunteers are kitting up to answer desperate calls for help. But they can’t launch to the rescue without support. The RNLI relies on donations to fund the kit and training volunteers need to save lives at sea and return safely home. I’m fundraising to help them stay ready to rescue.
