I’m hosting a Cuppa for the Crew to support RNLI lifesavers.
I’m popping on the kettle and hosting a Cuppa for the Crew, helping to save lives at sea by gathering friends together for a cup of tea
RNLI volunteers around the UK and Ireland will drop everything the moment their pager goes off. I’m raising money to help make sure they’re always ready to race to the rescue.
Will you join me for a Cuppa for the Crew, to help selfless RNLI volunteers save lives?

Why I'm raising money for the RNLI
Thursday 1st Oct Over the last few years I have been getting more and more passionate about the work the RNLI do. My Grandparents were big supporters of the RNLI and so when the opportunity came to have their names written on the side of a lifeboat, we, as a family, did just that. Their names now feature on the Shannon boat at Wells-on-Sea. I started following on Facebook the stations page so I could see what 'my boat' was up to. Then we visited it in person whilst on holiday several years ago in Norfolk. That was a special moment for me to see their names on the side of the boat. Since then we've visited RNLI stations in Bembridge on the IOW, Seahouses in Northumberland and Lyme Regis in Dorset whilst on holiday in the area. Each time we've learnt more about the RNLI and how they've developed. Of course watching Saving Lives at Sea has become a huge hit with us too. But what moved me to raise money for them was the recent poor treatment of some of the crews in Portsmouth by so called 'blackshirts'. This made me so angry and I decided to turn that anger into good and raise some money for them. ShareThank you to my Sponsors
