I’m taking on the Mayday Mile Challenge to support RNLI volunteers
This May, I’m completing a mile-a-day challenge to help RNLI crews save lives at sea.
During summertime, more people flock to beaches and coastal towns to make the most of everything they have to offer – from glorious sunshine to adventurous watersports. And as temperatures rise, so do calls from people in trouble in the water.
By answering this Mayday call and giving a gift today, you can make a real, lifesaving difference. Your kindness will help give volunteers everything they need to launch to the rescue, and make sure they’re ready to face their busiest season.
Will you sponsor my RNLI Mayday Mile Challenge and support the courageous crews?

Day 17 Complete
Sunday 17th MayDay 14–16 of my RNLI Mayday Mile Challenge didn’t quite go to plan due to a small injury setback 🤕🌊
Had to take a few rest days to recover properly, which was frustrating, but sometimes your body tells you when to slow down.
Back at it today for Day 17 though, and another 2 miles added to the total 💪
This challenge was never going to be easy, but giving up was never an option either… and it’s not over just yet 👀
Watch this space.
Still raising money for the RNLI and the incredible lifesaving work they do every single day.

Day 6 - 10 Holiday Complete
Sunday 10th MayDay 6–10 of my RNLI Mayday Mile Challenge 🌊☀️
Been away on holiday for the last few days and definitely still managed to get plenty of walking in! 👣
I’ve decided not to count those miles towards the challenge though — wanted to keep it true to the running/walking goals I originally set myself.
Now back home, recharged, and ready to get going again 💪
The motivation is still high and I’m looking forward to getting back into the routine and pushing on with the challenge, all in support of the RNLI and the amazing lifesaving work they do.

Another 3 miles completed today 💪
Focused on keeping my average heart rate down and running smarter rather than harder — definitely starting to find a better rhythm now. Over the next couple of days I’ll be switching to more of a run/walk approach as I prepare for some upcoming travel ✈️
Plan is to keep things ticking over… then get straight back into it running in the Mallorca sun ☀️🇪🇸

Training Update
Tuesday 28th Apr Training update for my RNLI Mayday Mile Challenge 🚶♂️🌊
Why This Cause Matters to Me and Why I’m Asking for Your Help!
Sunday 12th AprThere are moments in life when something shifts your perspective — when you realize you have the chance to make a real difference, even in a small way. For me, this is one of those moments.
I’ve decided to take on this fundraising challenge because I deeply care about this cause and the impact it has on people’s lives. Whether it’s providing vital support, raising awareness, or helping create lasting change, every step we take together truly matters.
This isn’t just about hitting a target number. It’s about the stories behind the cause — the individuals, families, and communities who benefit from the support we raise. It’s about showing that people care, that kindness is powerful, and that collective effort can lead to something meaningful.
I’ll be putting in my time, energy, and commitment to make this fundraising effort count. There may be challenges along the way, but that’s part of the journey — and it makes your support even more important.
If you’re able to donate, no matter how big or small, it would mean a lot. And if you can’t donate right now, sharing this page or spreading the word helps more than you might think.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and for being part of something that truly makes a difference.
Let’s do something good together!
