I’m taking on the Mayday Mile challenge to support RNLI volunteers
This May, I’m completing a mile-a-day challenge to help RNLI crews save lives at sea.
This year’s challenge will see me walking 33KM from Howth to Skerries in memory of my late Grandad Gerry McLoughlin and my uncle Brendan who was tragically lost at sea when he was 18. My Grandad dedicated over 40 years to Howth RNLI. Every cent raised by go directly to our local station, so these volunteers can keep doing the amazing work they do and help save lives at sea. I will also be raising funds for Skerries RNLI in memory of my late uncle Tony McLoughlin who also volunteered his time to the RNLI.
By answering this Mayday call and giving a gift today, you can make a real, lifesaving difference. Your kindness will help give volunteers everything they need to launch to the rescue, and make sure they’re ready to face their busiest season.
Thank you so much for supporting my Mayday mile it honestly means the world to me.
