Recreating the RNLI

Cuppa for the Crew

I’m hosting a Cuppa for the Crew to support RNLI lifesavers.

I’m popping on the kettle and hosting a Cuppa for the Crew, helping to save lives at sea by gathering friends together for a cup of tea.

RNLI volunteers around the UK and Ireland will drop everything the moment their pager goes off. I’m raising money to help make sure they’re always ready to race to the rescue.

Will you join me for a Cuppa for the Crew, to help selfless RNLI volunteers save lives?

Riders of the storm in a teacup

Sunday 31st Aug
As long time collectors of militaria and 20th century clothing we started to wonder what we could do in our "advanced" years.
We hit on the idea of combining one of our favourite charities and organisations and also supporting them.
We will be taking tea on the Lucy Laver - and original liverpool class lifeboat that began her rescue career on the beaches of Dunkirk in 1940. We will be wearing appropriate attire in a effort to honour the wartime crews of all RNLI boats who saved 6376 souls between 1939 and 1945.
Please, you donation - however small - will help save lives.
