How your support helped the RNLI in 2024

437 Lives saved

25,327 People aided by lifeboat crews and lifeguards

9,141 Lifeboat launches

I’m taking on the Mayday Mile Challenge to support RNLI volunteers

This May, I’m completing a mile-a-day challenge to help RNLI crews save lives at sea.

During summertime, more people flock to beaches and coastal towns to make the most of everything they have to offer – from glorious sunshine to adventurous watersports. And as temperatures rise, so do calls from people in trouble in the water.

By answering this Mayday call and giving a gift today, you can make a real, lifesaving difference. Your kindness will help give volunteers everything they need to launch to the rescue, and make sure they’re ready to face their busiest season.

Will you sponsor my RNLI Mayday Mile Challenge and support the courageous crews?

One Mile a Day. One Mission: Saving Lives

Thursday 2nd Apr
I’m Taking on the Mayday Mile Challenge – Join Me in Saving Lives

This May, I’m committing to something simple—but powerful: running one mile every single day to support the incredible volunteers of the RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution).

Why? Because when most of us head to the coast to relax, enjoy the sun, or push our limits in the water… RNLI crews are preparing for their busiest—and most dangerous—season.

### 🌊 Why This Matters

As temperatures rise, beaches fill up. More swimmers, more surfers, more people exploring the water.

And unfortunately, that also means more people get into trouble.

When that happens, RNLI volunteers drop everything. Day or night. Calm or storm. They launch into the unknown to save lives—often risking their own.

They don’t do it for recognition.
They do it because someone needs help.

### 🏃‍♂️ My Challenge

For the entire month of May, I’ll be running at least one mile every day.

Rain, fatigue, busy schedule—no excuses.

It’s not just about fitness.
It’s about discipline, consistency, and standing behind a cause that truly matters.

### ❤️ How You Can Help

This is where you come in.

By sponsoring my challenge, you’re not just supporting me—you’re helping fund real, life-saving missions.

Your donation will help provide:
- Lifeboats and rescue equipment
- Training for volunteer crews
- Safety gear that protects those who protect others

Even a small contribution can make a real difference.

### 🙌 Let’s Do Something Meaningful Together

We all enjoy the water in one way or another. This is a chance to give something back—to the people who are always ready when things go wrong.

If you can, please consider supporting this challenge.

Every mile I run is for them.
Every donation helps them save lives.
