RNLI Tower Run 2026

The RNLI Tower Run is London’s biggest stair climb challenge, with runners tackling over 1,400 steps whilst raising money to support the RNLI's lifesaving work in London and along the UK coastline.

The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea. Powered by kind donations, our search and rescue service has been saving lives around the UK for over 200 years. 

Every pound and penny raised from the RNLI Tower Run will go towards equipping our volunteer lifeboat crews with the essential training, kit, boats and materials required to continue our lifesaving mission for years to come.

One Step Closer

I've always said I prefer running up hill, as it's less impact. I may regret having ever said that. I don't know how many steps there are on Leigh Station Steps, but I bet it's not 1500. Anyway, for some reason this is now happening.

Myself and one of Southend-on-Sea's fantastic Commanders, Jon Charnock, have decided this is a good idea. Either way, we're definitely having a beer afterwards.

So with that said, let's make the pain worthwhile! Thanks in advance for your donations :)
