RNLI Tower Run 2026

RNLI Tower Run 2026

The RNLI Tower Run is London’s biggest stair climb challenge, with runners tackling over 1,400 steps whilst raising money to support the RNLI's lifesaving work in London and along the UK coastline.

The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea. Powered by kind donations, our search and rescue service has been saving lives around the UK for over 200 years.

Every pound and penny raised from the RNLI Tower Run will go towards equipping our volunteer lifeboat crews with the essential training, kit, boats and materials required to continue our lifesaving mission for years to come.

My Updates

For the love of water. In memory of Katie Webb

Friday 23rd Oct

Having spent much of my life swimming in open water and having volunteered as a  lifeguard, I have enormous respect for the RNLI volunteers, who dedicate their time and courage, often risking their own lives to keep others safe.

Recently, we lost my swim club friend Katie, far too soon.

Katie loved the water and asked that donations in her memory go to the RNLI, saying “I’m always happiest in the water.”

Swimming brings people together, creating friendships and shared experiences that stay with us. Katie was part of that wonderful community, and I can’t think of a more fitting way to honour her memory than supporting those who keep others safe in the water.

For Katie, for everyone who loves the water, and for those who risk their lives to keep us safe.
