I’m taking on the Mayday Mile challenge to support RNLI volunteers

This May, I’m completing a mile-a-day challenge to help RNLI crews save lives at sea.

During summertime, more people flock to beaches and coastal towns to make the most of everything they have to offer – from glorious sunshine to adventurous watersports. And as temperatures rise, so do calls from people in trouble in the water.

By answering this Mayday call and giving a gift today, you can make a real, lifesaving difference. Your kindness will help give volunteers everything they need to launch to the rescue, and make sure they’re ready to face their busiest season.

Will you sponsor my RNLI Mayday Mile challenge and support the courageous crews?

My Updates

This May

Sunday 5th May

On the1st of May started the RNLI’s Mayday Mile charity walk. This is the first charity walk I have done and to be honest I’m doing it to motivate myself to do more exercise, but it is also a very good cause! The RNLI is made up of a lot of volunteers who risk their lives to save others. And not only at sea, but in the Thames too! So if I fell in the Thames trying to take yet another picture of St. Pauls they would hopefully save me!

For this challenge I have to walk at least 1 mile a day in May, so 31 in total. If I do that and raise at least £125 I will get a medal (and I admit I am really hoping I get a medal as I’ve never won one before! Who knows if I get the medal I may even put a rarely seen photo of myself on facebook with it! 😱 I may also spam  everyday with a picture from my daily walk!! 🤷‍♀️)

So, if you can, please donate to my #maydaymile for the RNLI
