I’m taking on the Mayday Mile Challenge to support RNLI volunteers

This May, I’m completing a mile-a-day challenge to help RNLI crews save lives at sea.

During summertime, more people flock to beaches and coastal towns to make the most of everything they have to offer – from glorious sunshine to adventurous watersports. And as temperatures rise, so do calls from people in trouble in the water.

By answering this Mayday call and giving a gift today, you can make a real, lifesaving difference. Your kindness will help give volunteers everything they need to launch to the rescue, and make sure they’re ready to face their busiest season.

Will you sponsor my RNLI Mayday Mile Challenge and support the courageous crews?

Run/ Ride / Run and riding uphill :)

Monday 5th May
So, the last 3 days we have mixed it up a bit, to keep Sebi’s foot happy and also to keep it a challenge of course… :)
So day 3 we did a bike- run - bike mile which was fun…
And day 4 and 5, have both been bike days but to ensure it’s challenging, the distance has been more than doubled (although Sebi can happily ride for many miles anyway)… so to make it a definite challenge and something he doesn’t do all the time, we made almost a mile of those 3 miles, very hilly, steep and uneven track 👌… so Sebi is working those legs and eating several breakfasts before and after his hill climbs 😂…
Doing great Sea Bass! 🙌☀️💕🥰🥳

Bike ride today with daddy 👌

Sebi’s first mile a day in May 👌

Thursday 1st May
So, Sea Bass SMASHED his first mile a day in May today 🙌
At 7:30am he hit the country lanes up for a MILE RUN 😀
Don’t think Sebi particularly ‘enjoyed’ his run, but it was his first one so I’m sure he will :)
He really wants his medal too :)
So, thanks to those for sponsoring already and any other donations for the awesome RNLI for Sebi’s challenge will be gratefully received if they come in too :)
We will aim to mostly do a run for the mile a day but sometimes we will mix it up as Sebi has a minor foot issue at the mo :)
Thanks all 💕 WELL DONE SEBI!

Sebi’s Challenge

Wednesday 2nd Apr
Hi all, so, Sebi loved achieving his medal for his football commitment for a year and he is already a ‘crew member’ of the RNLI’s Storm Force membership for youngsters… so this challenge was a great fit.
He will aim to be running his mile a day, it says you can cycle/ walk / run/ skateboard etc. but for the challenge element we feel running is the good choice… and obviously he’d get the medal at the end of the completion of his challenge and maybe we can have a little celebration picnic or something :)
Along the way of themis challenge, Sebi can learn more about charities, more about RNLI, beach safety, money and the value of, how fundraising works, do sports PE etc… and lots if other educational opportunities that will come up 🙌👌
Thank you already for your support :)

He is mostly excited about the medal! Ha… and wanted to start already,  but it’s for May so we’ll map out various routes to do… beach/ boat lake/ from home etc, to do the round mile journey… 👌👌 😄😄💕💕 🏃
