I’m taking on the Mayday Mile challenge to support RNLI volunteers

This May, I’m completing a mile-a-day challenge to help RNLI crews save lives at sea.

During summertime, more people flock to beaches and coastal towns to make the most of everything they have to offer – from glorious sunshine to adventurous watersports. And as temperatures rise, so do calls from people in trouble in the water.

By answering this Mayday call and giving a gift today, you can make a real, lifesaving difference. Your kindness will help give volunteers everything they need to launch to the rescue, and make sure they’re ready to face their busiest season.

Will you sponsor my RNLI Mayday Mile challenge and support the courageous crews?

Way of life

Saturday 18th May
I have rode my mile 3 times before school this week. I'm a early bird! Iv made a new friend when out riding in the evenings and I have helped her join in. Iv put air in her flat tyres and encouraged her to carry on when she has stopped and is feeling tired. She is younger than me.

May Day Mile 13

Monday 13th May
I had football training tonight and ran around the pitch lots 😅

May Day Mile 12

Monday 13th May
I went on my ride dressed as Ground pounder (red trousers, elf top and a spiderman mask) and Ned wore a Harry Potter cloak and heart shades. Mum didn't grab a photo of this as the storm hit when I was out. When it started to rain and thunder I zoomed home as fast as I could.

May Day Mile 11

Monday 13th May
Wore my new RNLI hat to school today. I couldn't wear it on my ride because I needed my helmet!

May Day Mile 10

Thursday 9th May
Well, I have a bigger bike now 16'. I Helped dad replace a inner and tyre. Hopefully my back won't hurt so much in future.

Tuesday 7th May
A quick few rounds the block tonight as I had a busy evening at Beavers.

May Day 7

Monday 6th May
I nearly forgot to go out today. It wasnt until after my shower and when i got dressed into my pjs I remembered. So I went out with Ned in mu pjs!

May Day 6

Monday 6th May
I went to the skate park with Ned and Nanny. I zoomed around on my scooter and bum. It rained so the slopes got slippy so we made fun using them as slides.

May Day 5

Sunday 5th May
Lovely and sunny today. I took Mum and Ned out with me and stopped for a picnic too. 🌞

May Day 4

Friday 3rd May
5 laps of the block on my own.

May Day 3

Friday 3rd May
So tired today but I went out anyway and did an extra lap of the block on my own.

May Day 2

Thursday 2nd May
This time my mile was wet and soggy. You could say it was raining cats and dogs. My dad ran along side me today and we were speedy.

May day 1

Wednesday 1st May
I was keen to get out today and start my challenge. Mum ran alongside me on the roads and I went fast off road.
Thank you to those who have sponsored me so far. If I raise enough money and complete the challenge I will get Medal 🏅!
