Thriplow School Fun Run for RNLI

By Lucy How

I’m fundraising for the RNLI to help power brave lifesavers to the rescue

Every day, around the coasts of the UK and Ireland, RNLI volunteers are kitting up to answer desperate calls for help. But they can’t launch to the rescue without support. The RNLI relies on donations to fund the kit and training volunteers need to save lives at sea and return safely home. I’m fundraising to help them stay ready to rescue.

At Thriplow School, we want to educate the children in the valuable work of the RNLI and the impact they have, as well as encouraging their families and friends to support by sponsoring them.

Our annual fun run this year will be in aid of the RNLI. We aim to beat last year's distance of collectively running 550km!
