Nick's Mayday Mile Challenge for RLNI
This May, I’m completing a mile-a-day challenge to help RNLI crews save lives at sea. I'm going to attempt to do my 31 miles by swimming - The aim is that I become stronger than Poseidon so I never need the RNLI - but if one day one of you needs those glorious crew members, hopefully this will get them some funding to be able to help you out! :)
As a seaside boy, the RNLI is a very passionate subject for us folk on the south coast <3 <3
During summertime, more people flock to beaches and coastal towns to make the most of everything they have to offer – from glorious sunshine to adventurous watersports. And as temperatures rise, so do calls from people in trouble in the water.
