I’m taking on the Mayday Mile challenge to support RNLI volunteers

This May, I’m completing a mile-a-day challenge to help RNLI crews save lives at sea.

During summertime, more people flock to beaches and coastal towns to make the most of everything they have to offer – from glorious sunshine to adventurous watersports. And as temperatures rise, so do calls from people in trouble in the water.

By answering this Mayday call and giving a gift today, you can make a real, lifesaving difference. Your kindness will help give volunteers everything they need to launch to the rescue, and make sure they’re ready to face their busiest season.

Will you sponsor my RNLI Mayday Mile challenge and support the courageous crews?

Final Walk

Friday 31st May
I have this morning finished my final walk to raise money for the RNLI. I have walked at least one mile every day in the month of May.
It is a very worthwhile cause as the RNLI save many many lives every year. I know many of my friends live on or close to the coast and may well need them at some time in the future. All money raised goes to keeping the charity going so they can protect our coastline.

Lovely Weekend

Monday 13th May
Well the Run/Walk/Joggy is going well so far for the mile a day in May raising money for the RNLI. Most days I’ve done more than a mile and it has also helped me to get back into some regular exercise.
The RNLI is vitally important especially if you live near the coast, or spend time by the coast, which let’s be fair, a lot of us do.
If you can spare a few pennies to help me raise a few pounds every little helps and it might one day help to save somebodies life.

Day 1

Wednesday 1st May
Lovely walk round the park to complete day 1.
