I’m taking on the Mayday Mile Challenge to support RNLI volunteers

This May, I’m completing a mile-a-day challenge to help RNLI crews save lives at sea.

During summertime, more people flock to beaches and coastal towns to make the most of everything they have to offer – from glorious sunshine to adventurous watersports. And as temperatures rise, so do calls from people in trouble in the water.

By answering this Mayday call and giving a gift today, you can make a real, lifesaving difference. Your kindness will help give volunteers everything they need to launch to the rescue, and make sure they’re ready to face their busiest season.

Day 8,9&10 ✅

Saturday 10th May
Peony has smashed it last few days with plenty of miles covered, she’s walked to woodditton to the pub for ice cream and a drink, rode her pony for a two mile hack and been for a huge walk with grandma and grandad! Well done peony we are so proud she has now achieved the full 31 miles in just 10 day! We will keep going and see how many more we can do!!

Wednesday 7th May
Huge distance completed today, long evening walk, trip to the dentist and walk to the toy shop and plenty of steps at preschool!

Tuesday 6th May
Lots of steps in today at preschool equal to 2.3and today was swimming lessons so peony swam her mile!

Monday 5th May
We walked in bluebell woods today, we played in the wood, climbed over fallen down trees, looked at the flowers and had a huge tantrum about walking home! 🤣But another 2 miles done today!

Sunday 4th May
Early morning walk with daddy and Otto today 4.11 miles in total today! She’s smashing it

Sunday 4th May
Late upload for yesterday, 3.52 miles yesterday walking round Burghley food market and scootering to the beer festival 🍺

Friday 2nd May
Peony has a new tracker watch to record her own steps and distances!! She’s now smashed her target and has raised over £300! Go p!

Thursday 1st May
Peony smashed day 1 walking 2.3 miles today plus all the other running around between! She’s so excited to get started and so grateful for all the sponsorship so far!

Monday 21st Apr
Peony has decided to try and walk a mile a day in may, she’s going to use her scooter, ride her pony, walk and run while trying to cover a mile a day to raise money for the lifeboats, please help support her to raise plenty of money and more than welcome to come and join her for walks!
