I am taking on the Reindeer Run Challenge for RNLI lifesavers

In loving memory of my late dearest father, Michael Martin-Sullivan, a proud and cherished member of the Castletownbere Lifeboat, I am taking part in this December’s RNLI Reindeer Run Challenge.
This month, I’ll be donning my antlers and braving the elements to run 24 miles, all to help keep RNLI volunteers safe this winter.
Freezing seas, numbing winds and sub-zero temperatures – would any of us fancy launching into that aboard a lifeboat? Yet RNLI crews do it without hesitation, battling the harshest conditions to continue their mission to save every single life.
I’m raising funds to make sure they have everything they need when the call for help comes. No matter how wild the weather, lifeboat crews will always launch to the rescue.
My father adored the outdoors. He was out walking every day, getting his steps in – rain, wind, cold, sleet, nothing ever stopped him. That spirit is exactly why I want to take on this challenge in his honour.
I would be so grateful if you could sponsor me and make a small donation to the RNLI Lifeboats. And if you’d like, feel free to record a walk and join me along the way as I complete my 24 miles this December.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this.
This is for you Dad. And no matter how cold it is I am going to get this done!
