My RNLI Mayday Mile Challenge

Thursday 5th Mar

The sea is a beautiful place, but it doesn’t have a "pause" button. When someone is in trouble, they don't have time to wait. That’s why the RNLI volunteers don't wait either.

This May, I’m stepping up (literally) to support the lifesavers who are always on call. I’m taking part in the RNLI Mayday Mile, and I’m going to need your help to reach the finish line.

My Goal: 31 Miles for 31 Days

I’m not just walking; I’m making every mile count. Whether I’m running, or power-walking through the sunshine or rain, I’ll be completing at least one mile every single day throughout the month of May.

How You Can Help

I’ve set a fundraising goal of £150. It might not sound like a life-changing amount, but in the world of lifesaving, every penny has a purpose:

  • £20 could provide a pair of sturdy, protective boots for a volunteer.

  • £100 helps go towards the vital fuel needed for a rescue launch.

Spread the Word: Share this post to help to reach the horizon! Every pound is a "thank you" to the brave crews who protect our coastlines 24/7, 365 days a year. Let's make sure that when someone calls for help, the RNLI is ready to answer.

Thank you for your encouragement and kindness.
