I’m taking on the Mayday Mile Challenge to support RNLI volunteers
This May, I’m completing a mile-a-day challenge to help RNLI crews save lives at sea.
During summertime, more people flock to beaches and coastal towns to make the most of everything they have to offer – from glorious sunshine to adventurous watersports. And as temperatures rise, so do calls from people in trouble in the water.
By answering this Mayday call and giving a gift today, you can make a real, lifesaving difference. Your kindness will help give volunteers everything they need to launch to the rescue, and make sure they’re ready to face their busiest season.
Will you sponsor my RNLI Mayday Mile Challenge and support the courageous crews?

Final Stretch
Sunday 24th May Seven days left until Seamor & I complete our first RNLI MaydayMile Challenge. So grateful for all the donations received. Your money goes to a very worthy cause. As a charity, the RNLI relies on donations to make sure lifesavers have all the equipment needed to stay safe at sea & to rescue those in need to help. Share
For dad
Sunday 17th May Seamor (the dog) & I decided to take part in this year's Mayday Mike challenge in memory of my dad who passed away last year. Dad spent his life at sea, joining the Royal Navy at 15 but his love of the sea came from watching Mumbles lifeboat launch as a young boy. Dad was a lifelong supporter of the RNLI & his awe of the brave men & women who risk their lives saving others has also passed on to me. We're so grateful for the support & kind donation from friends & family as we take part in this year's Mayday Mile. Share
And we're off...day 1
Friday 1st May If you've every walked with a beagle you'll understand why I'm glad this challenge is about the miles, not speed or time of walks because we'd fail miserable with any race challenge. My boy Seamor (4 yr old beagle) likes to sniff every blade of grass so we coasted our first walk this morning, taking the time to enjoy mother nature along the way.Thank you to my Sponsors
