I’m taking on the Mayday Mile Challenge to support RNLI volunteers
This May, I’m completing a mile-a-day challenge to help RNLI crews save lives at sea.
During summertime, more people flock to beaches and coastal towns to make the most of everything they have to offer – from glorious sunshine to adventurous watersports. And as temperatures rise, so do calls from people in trouble in the water.
By answering this Mayday call and giving a gift today, you can make a real, lifesaving difference. Your kindness will help give volunteers everything they need to launch to the rescue, and make sure they’re ready to face their busiest season.
Will you sponsor my RNLI Mayday Mile Challenge and support the courageous crews?

Walking for Those Who Save Lives at Sea
Friday 27th MarWalking Through May for a Lifesaving Cause
This May, I’m taking on a simple but meaningful challenge: walking a mile every single day to support the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI).
It might not sound like much at first—just a mile a day—but sometimes it’s the consistent, everyday efforts that make the biggest difference. For me, this is about showing up, staying committed, and doing something positive for a cause that saves lives.
The RNLI holds a special place in so many communities, providing a 24/7 lifesaving service around our coasts. Their crews head out in all conditions to help people in danger at sea—something most of us couldn’t even imagine doing. This challenge is my way of giving back and saying thank you for the incredible work they do.
Over the next month, I’ll be getting out there every day—rain or shine—and putting one foot in front of the other. Some days will be easy, others less so, but every mile will count towards raising awareness and support.
If you’d like to follow along, support the cause, or even join in for a walk, I’d really appreciate it. Every bit of encouragement makes a difference.
Here’s to May, to the miles ahead, and to supporting those who help others when it matters most.
One mile a day. One step at a time.
