I’m taking on the Mayday Mile Challenge to support RNLI volunteers

This May, I’m completing a mile-a-day challenge to help RNLI crews save lives at sea.

During summertime, more people flock to beaches and coastal towns to make the most of everything they have to offer – from glorious sunshine to adventurous watersports. And as temperatures rise, so do calls from people in trouble in the water.

By answering this Mayday call and giving a gift today, you can make a real, lifesaving difference. Your kindness will help give volunteers everything they need to launch to the rescue, and make sure they’re ready to face their busiest season.

Will you sponsor my RNLI Mayday Mile Challenge and support the courageous crews?

My Dad and those who love sailing.

Tuesday 25th Mar
This is in memory of my Dad - who taught me how to sail from age 10 and sailing was his passion but also for the great times spent at Helensburgh Sailing club. The many years at this fantastic local club with many great sailors and olympic champions. My Dad was proud to be a member of the club and, always encouraged us to both enjoy and learn all about sailing.  There were many many fun and, of course competitive times but always respecting the sea - I learnt so much from my Dad both in sailing and life.
The RNLI in Helensburgh is made up from many who are or been part of the Helensburgh sailing club along with lots of town people.  It is an important part of the community Saving Lives, as it is for all coastal communities and all of us. . I now live in Worthing, still by the sea and, supporting the local RNLI     I am proud to be doing this challenge. Hope you can support, any contribution is appreciated - Thank you Sue
