I’m taking on the Mayday Mile Challenge to support RNLI volunteers

This May, I’m completing a mile-a-day challenge to help RNLI crews save lives at sea.

During summertime, more people flock to beaches and coastal towns to make the most of everything they have to offer – from glorious sunshine to adventurous watersports. And as temperatures rise, so do calls from people in trouble in the water.

By answering this Mayday call and giving a gift today, you can make a real, lifesaving difference. Your kindness will help give volunteers everything they need to launch to the rescue, and make sure they’re ready to face their busiest season.

Will you sponsor my RNLI Mayday Mile Challenge and support the courageous crews?

My Updates

Mile a day for RNLI

Monday 12th May
Just an update on progress. Over the weekend I was active at the lake . Wind foiling and walking around the lake . Whilst wind foiling the universal joint broke on my board fortunately I got to sure because of a piece of safe rope attaching the sail to the board fortunately I was on a lake !! .so this made me reflect on the great work that the RNLI do . People love the feeling of sliding on water . Boats ,paddle boards , windsurfing ,kite surfing ,Kayacks etc . All have risk attached to them and it’s important that risks are assessed by the user . But on occasions people get caught out by the weather ,tide , currents , mail function of kit . Etc etc . If this is on sea it’s the RNLI whom are tasked to rescue. So please could you help the brave people whom man the life boats with a quick Sponcer . Take care and thank you for reading this or donating cheers . Best Warren

Mile a day in may PPPPP !!

Saturday 26th Apr
My plan is to complete the challenge with 1mile swims twice a week . Morning fartlec around st James lake . Laps of school track doing HIIT work outs. Cycling around farthinghoe route from Brackley . Stowe golf !! I might also paddle board and windsurf always watching the weather and taking safety gear when I go out . So getting the fitness in and having fun whilst supporting a good cause . My sponsorship of the RNLI is important as they save  lives at sea . Brave work from volunteer crew who need support to carry out their important work . Thanks in advance for your support. Have a great day . Stay fit . Join if you feel you can help 👍 best WS
