URNU Bristol are fundraising for the RNLI by running the Great Bristol Run
12 URNU Bristol cadets will be taking part in the AJ Bell Great Bristol Run on 10th May in support of the RNLI.
The RNLI have 238 lifeboat stations and 7,828 crew and shore crew volunteers around the UK and Ireland, all requiring training, kit, rescue equipment and lifeboats to save lives at sea.
They patrol beaches to help prevent accidents, and can respond instantly when they do.
78% of donations fund their lifesaving activities, whether that is raising awareness and eduction on staying safe at sea or helping the lifeboat crews to save lives safely and effectively.
We would love to raise at least £600 for this incredible organisation, and have been training hard for the big day - for some cadets (URNU) this is their first running race, for others their first half marathon!
Your support is very appreciated, thank you!
