RNLI Mayday Challenge: Climb The O2

Are you ready to climb The O2 for Mayday?

Will you scale the roof of The O2 Arena in London to show your appreciation for our volunteer lifeboat crews?

Your 52m-high rooftop challenge will help raise money for Mayday, our annual appeal that supports the lifesaving work of RNLI crews on the city's River Thames and all around the coast.

Fundraising target: £100

Registration fee: £40. This includes a photo opportunity with an RNLI crew member at the summit and a commemorative certificate

Being a challenge at height, there are certain safety restrictions in place. These include health, weight, size and other restrictions. Please read through the essential information and terms and conditions on the Up at The O2 website to make sure you're fit to climb before signing up.

You’ll also find useful details for the big day, including travel information, check-in time (which is 15 minutes before your climb time), what to wear and what you can and cannot take.

Fundraising

  • We ask that everyone taking part in the RNLI Climb The O2 Mayday challenge aims to raise £100 to help our volunteer crews continue to save lives at sea and on London's River Thames.
  • Upon registering for the event, you will be provided with your very own fundraising page.
  • Our Fundraising Team are here to help and can be contacted at fundraising@rnli.org.uk.
  • The registration fee of £40 will cover the costs associated with running the event.
