I’m fundraising for the RNLI to help power brave lifesavers to the rescue
Every day, around the coasts of the UK and Ireland, RNLI volunteers are kitting up to answer desperate calls for help. But they can’t launch to the rescue without support. The RNLI relies on donations to fund the kit and training volunteers need to save lives at sea and return safely home. I’m fundraising to help them stay ready to rescue.

Thursday 27th Aug So last few days before the lifeboat is on parade ! Busy attaching all the lights and making sure Navigator Finley the lifeboat teddy is safely secured and lit !! Arlan even 3d printed him his own helmet so now he really looks the part !

Saturday 22nd Aug So yesterday Arlan took his lifeboat for a test sail ! We went down to Minehead RNLI Station for some photos with the crew ! It hasn't got all it's lights on but I think you will agree it's looking great !!!

Tuesday 18th Aug So the main build is painted !!! And it's looking amazing. Both engines are built and wired up to actually turn the propellers and of course they are lit ! Just waiting on the velcro to attach and detach them for travel ! Pics will be uploaded this week just before we add the lights !!

Wednesday 5th Aug So Arlan has been busy with his build behind the scenes slowly getting organised. Hes finally finished the paper maché on the boat, and just needs a small amount on the engines... hes even come up with a cool idea for those !!

Wednesday 22nd Jul So with the basic framework finished Arlan is now moving into the paper mache phase of his build ! This will hopefully help to make it look boat like ! He's also designed and 3d printed some supports for the framework because otherwise it won't fit in the car! So we can take off the top and remove the "hull" from the go kart.
And the build begins !!
Monday 20th Jul Well arlans in full build mode currently. Has has his sketch plan, we have the cane for the framework and we are in the basic shape phase.... bear with us ! I promise this does get better ! ShareThank you to my Sponsors
