Taking on the Reindeer Run Challenge for RNLI lifesavers

RNLI supporters around the country will be donning their antlers and strapping up their hooves to run 24 miles – all to help keep RNLI volunteers safe this winter.

Freezing seas, numbing winds and sub-zero temperatures – would you fancy launching into that aboard a lifeboat? RNLI crews will be doing just that, battling the elements this winter to continue their mission to save every one.

Reindeer Runners will be raising money so they have everything they need to answer the call for help. Because no matter how harsh the winter weather might be, lifeboat crews will always launch to the rescue. I’d be so grateful if you could sponsor me.

Training run 2

Monday 18th Nov
Training run #2 completed this morning, we have increased the distance slightly to prepare for our December challenge #RNLIReindeerRun. 
4.85 miles, our longest run so far. It is going to get cold according to the forecast so I may need skis lol 😜

Wednesday 13th Nov
Henry and I started our training with a 3.5 miles practice run this morning. If you can spare just a little to support the incredibly brave and selfless RNLI volunteers I promise we will earn your donation. 24 miles in December of running across fields, through mud and up hills, and you will get to see the pictures (mud and all) 😂 please follow my Facebook page for videos and photos 


Canicross Challenge

Tuesday 5th Nov
Henry and I are challenging ourselves to run 24 miles together through December. WHY I hear you ask, a great question. Firstly and mainly I am a huge supporter of the RNLI they are an amazing resource that save people’s lives everyday whilst risking their own as unpaid volunteers, the most selfless act that many would not be brave enough to do. They rely completely on donations. 
Secondly I wanted to do something a little different to support their reindeer run event so Henry and I will attach ourselves together with a bungee cord and complete this challenge together. 
I will post run updates, videos and photos of our runs on facebook if you want to have a giggle 🤭.
