Take on the Reindeer Run Challenge 2023! Run (or walk) 24 miles throughout December - that's one mile for every hour RNLI volunteers are on call on Christmas Day. If running's not for you, you could walk, jog, or even saunter. Did you know, it only takes 20 minutes on average to walk 1 mile?

It's a fun and festive way to get active and be a lifesaver.

How it works

Step 1

Sign up for the Reindeer Run and you’ll automatically get a fundraising page.

Step 2

Take on the 24-mile challenge. You could run one mile every day or create your own plan.

Step 3

Raise money by sharing your fundraising page – and use our handy resources to boost donations.

Step 4

Once you’ve reached the £100/€100 target, you’ll get your medal in the post!

You've been a lifesaver - the Reindeer Run Challenge is complete!

Our volunteer crews need your help

Every time an RNLI crew launches, they are determined to save every one. But they can’t do that without you. By taking on the challenge and raising vital funds, you’ll be helping keep our volunteers safe.

When you've raised £100/€100, you will have earned your challenge medal and be well on your way to achieving your fundraising target of £250/€250! And once you've completed your 24 miles, you can sit back, crack open the mince pies, and enjoy being a lifesaver.
