How your support helped the RNLI in 2024

437 Lives saved

25,327 People aided by lifeboat crews and lifeguards

9,141 Lifeboat launches

Taking on the Reindeer Run challenge for RNLI lifesavers

RNLI supporters around the country will be donning their antlers and strapping up their hooves to run 24 miles – all to help keep RNLI volunteers safe this winter.

Freezing seas, numbing winds and sub-zero temperatures – would you fancy launching into that aboard a lifeboat? RNLI crews will be doing just that, battling the elements this winter to continue their mission to save every one.

Reindeer Runners will be raising money so they have everything they need to answer the call for help. Because no matter how harsh the winter weather might be, lifeboat crews will always launch to the rescue. I’d be so grateful if you could sponsor me.

Running Challenge

Wednesday 3rd Dec
Good Afternoon every one,

My name is Craig and I started running two months ago, this was too help with my fitness and also for mental wellbeing.

It used to be a huge struggle to run for the bus, so doing a 5k was a big step, 2 months in and I’ve completed 2 official 10ks the Great Scottish Run and also Run the Runway at Glasgow Prestwick Airport in aid of 3 amazing charities Beatson Cancer Care, Doing it for Daniel Foundation and also Ayrshire Hospital raising nearly £500.

This weekend I’ll also be doing the Santa Dash in aid of Beatson Cancer Care.

I’ve decided that I wanted to take part in this challenge as transport has been a big part of my life in various cases in Land sea and air, and knowing that the seas are safer with the incredible work that the RNLI do 365 days a year around the clock, I felt I had to give something back as a thank you.

Therefore every penny counts,

Thanks for reading and best of luck for those taking part!
