Taking on the Reindeer Run challenge for RNLI lifesavers

RNLI supporters around the country will be donning their antlers and strapping up their hooves to run 24 miles – all to help keep RNLI volunteers safe this winter.

Freezing seas, numbing winds and sub-zero temperatures – would you fancy launching into that aboard a lifeboat? RNLI crews will be doing just that, battling the elements this winter to continue their mission to save every one.

Reindeer Runners will be raising money so they have everything they need to answer the call for help. Because no matter how harsh the winter weather might be, lifeboat crews will always launch to the rescue. I’d be so grateful if you could sponsor me.

'Back' in action

Monday 15th Dec
Today I finally got back into walking after having a bad back and needing to take a break,.oh and a good crack of the back from my physio!.
It's a bit disappointing I've not been able to walk as much the past few days but I'm glad to be on the mend.
I appreciate it's an expensive time of year but it you can spare some sponsorship id very much appreciate it to help me get to my target.
Thank you!
Emily.

Two in a year!!!??

Saturday 8th Nov

After doing the May Day Mile I'm off again on the Reindeer Run (well, a walk for me. Luckily it is allowed and I'm so happy that those who can't run can join in).
Again, I get it's not much for some but the May Day Mile was a big challenge for someone who spends most weekends at home recovering from work and day to day tasks.
If you can and want to, here is my fundraising page. The RNLI volunteers are there 365 days a year and they give up family time even on Christmas day to save people (and animals) at sea.
Wish me luck and I do have a personal goal which is more than the May Day Mile achievement of 50 miles 😬
