I’m taking on the Mayday Mile Challenge to support RNLI volunteers
This May, me and my mum are completing the Mayday Mile Challenge to support the RNLI. Mayday being the emergency word at sea, is the name for the challenge- doing a mile a day in May.
With the sea on our doorstep, I have grown up with the coast being a scene so easy to take for granted. From the sunny beach days, to the stormy weathers where many of us turn away from the coast, the RNLI are always ready. Knowing volunteers for the RNLI, it is truly inspiring to see their comitement and heroism.
The RNLI ensure the beach is protected from their lifeguarding service to lifeboat launching. Every penny raised gives the lifeboat volunteers everything they need to launch to the rescue and save lives. If possible, I am looking for each donation to be of £2.50 to reach my goal.
Thank you so much for all of the support 🌊
