Taking on the Reindeer Run challenge for RNLI lifesavers
RNLI supporters around the country will be donning their antlers and strapping up their hooves to run 24 miles – all to help keep RNLI volunteers safe this winter.
Freezing seas, numbing winds and sub-zero temperatures – would you fancy launching into that aboard a lifeboat? RNLI crews will be doing just that, battling the elements this winter to continue their mission to save every one.
Reindeer Runners will be raising money so they have everything they need to answer the call for help. Because no matter how harsh the winter weather might be, lifeboat crews will always launch to the rescue. I’d be so grateful if you could sponsor me.

24/7, 365 & Christmas
Monday 27th Oct I should also add that I’ll be finishing this series by also running 24 miles on the last day!
Running to the Rescue (Rudolph’s Lifesaving Side-Quest)
Monday 27th OctThis December, I'm swapping my project workbooks (and birthday cake) for a ridiculously red nose and taking on the RNLI Reindeer Run!
While the rest of us are busy planning our Christmas feasts, the dedicated crews of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) are ready to drop everything and launch into the cold whenever the call comes. This festive sprint is my way of giving back to the incredible institution and the One Crew of volunteers who embody courage, commitment, and skill.
Our Vital Mission: Safety, 24/7/365
As someone who works within the RNLI, I know that saving lives at sea isn't a Christmas miracle - it's the result of rigorous training, essential kit, and dependable systems. The RNLI is the emergency service of the water, operating 24/7, 365 days a year.
Every single pound raised by this run goes directly into ensuring that this vital mission continues:
Fueling the fleet: Keeping lifeboats ready to launch at a moment's notice.
Training our heroes: Providing world-class training to volunteer crews.
Essential Gear: Supplying the high-performance lifejackets and equipment needed to brave the worst weather.
My goal is to raise £250 to support this critical operation. Your donation is a direct investment in the project of saving a life.
The Festive Foolery
Now, for the fun bit! I'll be running over 24 miles in the run up to Christmas to raise viral funds for the RNLI, and may even be caught with a real red nose or wearing light-up antlers as the nights turn colder!
Help me run my socks off and raise the funds needed to keep lifeboats launching and crews safe this winter.
Please donate today—it makes a difference every time a lifeboat launches!
