Taking on the Reindeer Run challenge for RNLI lifesavers
This winter, I’m joining RNLI supporters across the country for the Reindeer Run, trading in my usual running gear for a pair of antlers and taking on 24 miles to help keep our lifeboat crews safe.
While most of us are wrapping up warm, RNLI volunteers will be braving freezing seas, biting winds and sub-zero temperatures to save lives at sea. Whatever the weather, they’re ready to launch at a moment’s notice to help anyone in trouble.
By sponsoring me, you’ll be helping to give these lifesavers the equipment, training and support they need to carry on their incredible work, no matter how rough the winter gets.
Every mile I run will help keep them ready to answer the call. I’d be so grateful for your support.

🦌 Dashing for a Cause
Monday 10th NovI’ll be honest, I’m not a runner. In fact, I’m a longtime smoker, so the idea of me doing a “Reindeer Run” along Brighton seafront is already raising eyebrows (mostly mine). But here I am, signed up and ready (almost ready) to do it for a brilliant cause: the RNLI.
Living by the sea, I see how vital the RNLI’s work is. Their volunteers are out there saving lives in all weathers, day and night, and this is my small, slightly wheezy way of giving something back.
So, if you see a red-nosed reindeer gasping for air somewhere near Brighton Pier, please cheer me on! Or better yet, donate a little to the RNLI. Every bit of support helps keep their boats (and brave crews) ready to go when it matters most.
