I’m taking on the Mayday Mile for RNLI! 🚨🌊
This May, I’m challenging myself to move every single day - through walks, runs, and probably the occasional sweaty struggle - all in support of the amazing RNLI.
This charity is close to my heart (and even closer to my husband’s family). These crews are absolute legends, risking their lives to save others, often in brutal conditions.
So, I’m doing my bit - one mile at a time (some days even more) - to raise money to help keep them trained, equipped, and ready to answer the call.

Why I’m Doing the Mayday Mile for RNLI
Sunday 30th MarThis May, I’m taking on the Mayday Mile to raise money for the RNLI - a charity that’s incredibly close to my husband and his family. Years ago, his dad was rescued by the RNLI, and ever since, their bravery and commitment means a lot!
I’m already training for a half marathon (on 11th May!) and a very serious sausage dog-themed 10k 🤣 later in the month. So I’ll be clocking up my Mayday Miles through regular runs and daily walks, every day in May - rain or shine!
Why donate?
As the weather warms up and we all flock to the beach or sea, it’s easy to forget how dangerous the water can be. The RNLI crews are real-life heroes - saving lives, often with little recognition. Your donation helps keep them trained, equipped, and ready to respond.
