Taking on the Reindeer Run challenge for RNLI lifesavers
RNLI supporters around the country will be donning their antlers and strapping up their hooves to run 24 miles – all to help keep RNLI volunteers safe this winter.
Freezing seas, numbing winds and sub-zero temperatures – would you fancy launching into that aboard a lifeboat? RNLI crews will be doing just that, battling the elements this winter to continue their mission to save every one.
Reindeer Runners will be raising money so they have everything they need to answer the call for help. Because no matter how harsh the winter weather might be, lifeboat crews will always launch to the rescue. I’d be so grateful if you could sponsor me.

Why I’m Fundraising
Sunday 2nd NovHello, you strange and excellent person reading this.
Thanks for taking a moment to visit my fundraising page and for even considering donating. My family and I moved to the coast about five years ago, and since then I’ve developed a deep respect for the RNLI and the work they do. My dad has been volunteering behind the scenes with them for over 30 years, and I’m immensely proud of him for it. This is my small way of following his example.
The RNLI team are extraordinary: volunteers who risk their safety for others without hesitation or judgement, supported by an unseen network of fundraisers, treasurers and organisers who keep everything afloat, literally. It’s an institution we island Britons should be deeply proud of and fiercely protective of.
Those who know me will know that running has never been my forte, but this December I’ll be running at least 48 miles, double the official target, through the cold, dark weeks in support of the RNLI. I’m hoping your donations will inspire me to keep going (and vice versa).
Thanks, gang.
