How your support helped the RNLI in 2024

437 Lives saved

25,327 People aided by lifeboat crews and lifeguards

9,141 Lifeboat launches

Taking on the Reindeer Run challenge for RNLI lifesavers

RNLI supporters around the country will be donning their antlers and strapping up their hooves to run 24 miles – all to help keep RNLI volunteers safe this winter.

Freezing seas, numbing winds and sub-zero temperatures – would you fancy launching into that aboard a lifeboat? RNLI crews will be doing just that, battling the elements this winter to continue their mission to save every one.

Reindeer Runners will be raising money so they have everything they need to answer the call for help. Because no matter how harsh the winter weather might be, lifeboat crews will always launch to the rescue. I’d be so grateful if you could sponsor me.

Save lives at sea

Sunday 30th Nov
I love living by the sea and seeing how it changes constantly, it has over the last 4 years helped me to manage my mental health. I love a cold water dip and the benefits of it but I have also learnt the importance of staying save in the water and how much the RNLI matter and help people in need. Please help me raise money for them by sponsoring me even just a couple of pounds.
Those that know me also know that I have recently started running and am currently training for my biggest challenge yet, more to come on that later. But I have fallen in love with running and it is also helping me with my mental health, on days I can’t swim I can always go for a run. Come rain (and there is a fair amount of that in Wales!) or shine I have been going out getting the runs done.
So over December I am going to take up the challenge of running a total of at least 24 miles, I can’t wait to see how many in total I can do. Again any small amount of sponsorship will be gratefully received and will make a difference to this amazing charity.
