Taking on the Reindeer Run challenge for RNLI lifesavers
This year is a little different as I am taking part as a member of a team rather than on my own as all previous.
Admin and members of the RNLI Launch a Memory Supporters Social Media group are joining forces to raise vital funds for the RNLI.
RNLI Launch a Memory Supporters Group team members from across the UK including RNLI volunteers from Southend-on-Sea, Margate and Lowestoft will cover the 24 miles during December each in their own way. Rumour has it Stormy Stan will be joining the challenge from time to time.
This December, we're donning our antlers and strapping up our hooves to walk and run 24 miles – all to help keep RNLI volunteers safe this winter.
Freezing seas, numbing winds and sub-zero temperatures – would you fancy launching into that aboard a lifeboat? RNLI crews will be doing just that, battling the elements this winter to continue their mission to save every one.
We're raising money so they have everything they need to answer the call for help. Because no matter how harsh the winter weather might be, lifeboat crews will always launch to the rescue. We’d be so grateful if you could sponsor us.
On an even more personal aspect as a RNLI crew member myself, this is also helping me to achieve a very personal goal of loosing 2 stone in time for the New Year. I am well on my way with 1 and a half lost so far. That in itself deserves a donation (in my opinion)!! 😉

Julia. We happy to support you in your quest. When the going gets tough, your family is with you. Dad would be so proud of you, as Mum is.
