Taking on the Reindeer Run challenge for RNLI lifesavers

RNLI supporters around the country will be donning their antlers and strapping up their hooves to run 24 miles – all to help keep RNLI volunteers safe this winter.

Freezing seas, numbing winds and sub-zero temperatures – would you fancy launching into that aboard a lifeboat? RNLI crews will be doing just that, battling the elements this winter to continue their mission to save every one.

Reindeer Runners will be raising money so they have everything they need to answer the call for help. Because no matter how harsh the winter weather might be, lifeboat crews will always launch to the rescue. I’d be so grateful if you could sponsor me.

My Updates

24 Miles in December

Sunday 9th Nov
In 2025 I have worked hard to improve my running. My progress has been slow but steady and I am so proud of how much I have improved. I’ve gone from barely being able to run 30 seconds before getting a stitch, and needing to walk, to running 5K and now training for my 10K!

I saw this challenge and thought it would be an excellent way to prove to myself just how far I’ve come, and to do it in support for such an important and deserving charity is really exciting.

The RNLI is a crucial organisation that saves and prevents tragedies at sea. Through education and practical support, the charity and its devoted teams have worked tirelessly since 1824 and saved over 140,000 lives!

This December, I hope you will join me in supporting this fantastic charity. The goal is £125, however any donation is both appreciated and vital to supporting the RNLI’s important work.

I will be running 24 miles this December and I hope you can sponsor me and support the RNLI this winter.
