RNLI Tower Run 2026

RNLI Tower Run 2026

The RNLI Tower Run is London’s biggest stair climb challenge, with runners tackling over 1,400 steps whilst raising money to support the RNLI's lifesaving work in London and along the UK coastline.

The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea. Powered by kind donations, our search and rescue service has been saving lives around the UK for over 200 years.

Every pound and penny raised from the RNLI Tower Run will go towards equipping our volunteer lifeboat crews with the essential training, kit, boats and materials required to continue our lifesaving mission for years to come.

Leon Mihelcic's Furnivall Sculling Club Blister Memorial Celebrity Maritime Safety Awareness Pro-Am RNLI Tower Run Charity Vertical Challenge For The Lifeboats

Wednesday 14th Oct

Together with a few of my rowing friends from Furnivall Sculling Club, next week I will be running the RNLI Tower Run: 58 floors of 22 Bishopsgate, where the RNLI was founded, in support of its lifesaving work around the British coast and on the Thames.

The RNLI is a charity sustained by donations. Having seen their work in action, I go out on the water every weekend with much greater confidence because RNLI volunteers stand ready when things go wrong. Every pound raised will help provide the crews, boats, training and equipment that make that work possible.
