Taking on the Reindeer Run Challenge for RNLI lifesavers

RNLI supporters around the country will be donning their antlers and strapping up their hooves to run 24 miles – all to help keep RNLI volunteers safe this winter.

Freezing seas, numbing winds and sub-zero temperatures – would you fancy launching into that aboard a lifeboat? RNLI crews will be doing just that, battling the elements this winter to continue their mission to save every one.

Reindeer Runners will be raising money so they have everything they need to answer the call for help. Because no matter how harsh the winter weather might be, lifeboat crews will always launch to the rescue. I’d be so grateful if you could sponsor me.

My Updates

Join Me in the Reindeer Run Challenge for the RNLI This December!

Friday 8th Nov

After suffering an injury mid-way through this year, I’m finally back on my feet and diving back into training—and this time, I’m taking on a challenge for a cause close to my heart. This December, I’m tackling the Reindeer Run Challenge, committing to 24 miles over the month to raise funds and awareness for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI).

As I rebuild my fitness for next year’s events, I’m thrilled to also be giving back to an organisation that has been saving lives at sea for over two centuries. Since its founding, the RNLI has saved more than 146,000 people, with 355 rescues this year alone. What’s truly inspiring is that 97% of the RNLI’s crew members are volunteers—people who leave the comfort of their homes, even in extreme weather, to protect and save others.

For me, this challenge is a small way of giving back to these incredible volunteers who risk their lives with every call. Knowing the impact the RNLI has on families and communities around the UK makes this effort incredibly meaningful to me.

I know December is a busy time, and budgets are tight with the holidays, but every bit of support goes a long way. If you’re able to contribute even a small amount, know that your donation helps keep the RNLI afloat (quite literally) so they can continue their life-saving work. Let’s make this festive season one of giving, gratitude, and community.

Please consider donating to support this incredible cause. Together, we can help keep our shores safe and ensure the RNLI is there when people need it most.
